Roya Institute of Studies Refund Policy (California Compliant)

Roya Institute of Studies ("Institute") strives to provide students with a valuable educational experience and is committed to fair and transparent policies in compliance with California law. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which students may be eligible for a refund of their tuition fees.

 

Refundable Period:

 

  • Students are eligible for a full refund of their tuition fees if they request a cancellation within five days of enrollment. This period is intended to give students ample time to assess their suitability for the course.

  • After the initial three business days, a prorated refund will be issued based on the percentage of the course not completed.

  • If a student attends the course beyond introductory materials or the first live session, whichever comes first, the refund will be reduced to 50% of the remaining tuition fees. This deduction covers administrative costs associated with processing enrollment, preparing course materials, managing student records, and instructor resources dedicated to the initial session.

 

Non-Refundable Items:

 

  • Late fees and administrative charges are non-refundable.

  • Textbooks and other course materials are not included in the refund policy and are the student's responsibility.

 

California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) Compliance:

 

We are committed to respecting the privacy rights of all our students, including those residing in California. Please refer to our separate Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, use, and disclose personal information compliant with the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).

 

Requesting a Refund:

 

To request a refund, students must submit a written request via email to admissions@royais.org. The email should include the student's full name, course name(s), and reason for requesting a refund.

 

Processing Time:

 

Refunds will be processed within three business days of receiving the student's written request. Refunds will be issued through the original payment method used for enrollment.

 

Exceptions:

 

The Institute reserves the right to deny a refund request in cases of fraudulent activity, violation of institute policies, or unforeseen circumstances beyond its control.
